With old dalvik cache ? Or did you wipe it ?

Hmm....I think it would be easy if the app do a one time license check or a license check every time a setting is needed to be changed in the app...if the license check is passed then only onboot service/activity would activate (a2n_allow= true could be set)....then no need to get online on every boot in order to apply those settings or execute init.d scripts...everything would be then handled by that service
Because most of the users, I believe, tend to find a stable config, then they stay on that, well atleast me!. then whenever we want to change something lets just say OC, open the a2n app, OC the freqs, pass the license check, nd we r good!...what I mean is that license check could be done everytime a setting in a2n app is changed and could be removed when it applies those onboot settings & scripts through that service.
Anyways it's just a suggestion, I'm OK with the existing setup also, it's good...
One more thing I noticed is that Touch Boost is enabled even after setting it to 0ms in the app, the freqs ramp up whenever I touch the screen, may be this is because the head event is set to 0 0 0 0 0 but tail event is not set that way. Although I was able to adjust this with init.d...
I agree. I don't like to have my phone online all the time and I also use it a lot on areas without service. Needing to connect to the internet to apply settings doesn't feel good to me.

Of course internet connection is not required for just applying your offline settings. But it's required to check for a valid license just before applying settings.

I get what he mean with what he's pointing to, he means after every reboot he has open the app everytime for applying settings, but its not possible if he has none reception or something because app needs a active internet connection when opening the app after reboot for the license check. Thats a kind of problem indeed.

A2N developer please can you tell me what rom are you using? Seems like you are only best dev for S8/S8+ . I'm searching for best compatible rom for S8+ with a2n kernel.

Sure it's a kind of problem. And somehow only a workaround for now.
I also don't like that, (yes i've to do the same like you) but it's not my fault if Google is not able to provide a proper secure license check library.
They provide 2 different methods of license check:

1. Offline mode
2. Serverside / online check

method 1. is completely unsecure and very easy to hack.
method 2. sounds secure but it's fully hacked as well.
So as an commercial app developer the only way we developers have, is to protect our work with our own custom methods, (since Google completely failed)

I can't speak for any custom ROM's here, because i've never tried one of them.
I'm just using and developing A2N Kernel with the latest stock ROM and i'm very happy.

Okay Clear for me, no other choice then lol

I recommend Lightrom v50 pie from teamexykings, its a debloated and optimized and close to stock rom. Also you can install the stock apps from the installer if you miss them and need them back for some reason, also it has some mods in the installer. But look for yourself, nobody can rlly recommend a rom what you likes and suits your phone.😊

                                echo 0 0 0 0 0 0 > /sys/class/input_booster/tail

I ignored clearing cache.. Clearing it now.. and it was a soft reboot

I forgot to mention, you should flash also twrp from my FTP.

Flash twrp
Reboot to recovery
Flash a2n kernel
Flash magisk
Wipe cache and dalvik
Reboot to system

This is a proper clean installation method.
This kernel has different RAM layout.
And therefore you need twrp with same kernel otherwise you get memory corruption and get soft reboots and bootlogo glitches.

Yep, this time 2hrs passed and no random reboot still. One and only mistake, I was using TWRP from highonandroid website (some tutorial on youtube). Flashed twrp by a2n, flashed kernel, magisk, wiped davilk and cache. For now works like charm. Thanks dev

Edit: almost 24hr passed.
Kernel is super stable.
Device S8+, rom: hades v12 pie (not the best but who cares).

The new version works very well. No random rebooting for me. And the performance is great.
Now the only problem I have is my device itself. it seems like the thermal system in the device is kinda broken. so I have to fix it later.

@ace2nutzer hi dev, i have a problem when i leave my phone on idle or using it for a few hours it becomes sluggish and rlly slow and laggy and after reboot its again fast. Do you know what it causes?

Kernel settings:
Cpu & gpu clock speed default settings
Up threshold 50%
Dvfs 70c
Lmk 192mb
Zram 60%
Swappiness default
Touchboost off

It seems that my device is charging slow what changes required in a2n app... all settings are unchanged

Check if fast charging is enabled in the battery settings, and second check if the cable is the problem. I have it sometimes that the accu is slow charging becus a dirty charging port or the cable is not fully in the charger.

Right, sometimes it doesn't detect properly AFC charger due to contact problems. After re-plug the connector from the phone it shows properly "fast charging". For S8, default charging current is 1500 mA while over offline charging it's 2000 mA.
To increase, you have to change value for the proper charger. For any wall charger it's "AC Current Max".
After that check "Charging Current".
You can change current on the fly.

As for slowness after some time: try with LMK 256 MB

@ace2nutzer Guess its solved now, only problem i get sometimes is some weird gpu glitch or restarting a app when im using it, like a app refresh without losing anything.

Yeah, it's related to memory management, or better say to the dalvik heap. Check installation notes, i was suggesting to delete some flags.

Probably you need to readd them:

                                dalvik.vm.heapstartsize=8m dalvik.vm.heapminfree=2m dalvik.vm.heapmaxfree=8m

To your build.prop.
If it doesn't fix the issue, you should remove them again.
No need to wipe dalvik cache for this little change.
